Hitomi was walking to the grocery store; they'd ran out of eggs at home (partly from the fact that both sisters often didn't care enough about cooking proper meals and just kept making omelettes, and partly from the fact that Hitomi had dropped an entire box of eggs from the fridge onto the ground on accident). So Shun had told her to get off her ass and do something productive - not in this wording, actually. She'd just asked her if she could go out, and Hitomi agreed - it was nice to go out once in a while and just enjoy the fresh air - even if it was a little cold. What a fine day,  Hitomi thought. A fine day to walk through the streets, and mentally complain about the sticky situation she found herself in. Not only did the army blockade mean she couldn't fuckin' go out of the city and look for research specimens, but her arm replacement pieces were starting to run low and she didn't know if, if she ordered new parts, they'd be allowed to enter through the blockade. She damn hoped so; the last thing she wanted right now was to be stranded armless again, especially in a city where strange things were apparently happening.
